What does the role involve?
We are looking for a senior commercial solicitor to be based in Cambridge, Â to undertake a wide range of work for life sciences businesses (including pharmaceutical and drug discovery businesses, medical devices companies, and service suppliers to the life sciences industry) and other clients of the commercial, IP and IT team. The work will include advising on IP licensing and partnering transactions; clinical trial agreements; commercial contracts; research collaborations; IP protection; regulatory issues in life sciences; data protection and due diligence for corporate transactions relating to life sciences. As part of our top-ranked team, you will be working with our head of life sciences James Fry, as well as other members of our large and friendly commercial IP and IT team.

What experience is required?
You will have 5+years post qualification experience gained in a large regional or City firm, or in-house. You will have good technical skills in commercial law with a proven interest in life sciences businesses. You will be enthusiastic and a commercially-minded lawyer, and be prepared to turn your hand to a wide range of work.
